-Welcome SL Dark Horn to Kappa! Even though I didn't hear from you since you joined, I've noticed you completed your INPR, so I hereby anounce that pending FO approval you are promoted to LT! Anyway, remember to notify me of the things you do, so I can keep track of your activity. Now, enjoy your bills from the Bar, as you are paying beer for all of us for a while!

-It's been a week and a half of A-WC dictatorship, and I am enjoying it like mad. I like very much the human-chair I use, composed of Wing II officers. Hey, don't move Reb! :p

-The Kappa homepage group maintained by the allmighty Webmaster Algaron has been moved. Once again they are located on the squadron.org server, adresses are as follows:

-We've beaten Wing V!!! YAAY!!! Good good job everyone, we had a good participation rate. And the second top scorer came from here ;) /me starts arranging his medals to fit a new one :p

-A great meeting was held last monday on #Airlock54!! lots of people there and a nice trivia afterwards, whic was won by LCM Tempest, earning him his first IS-BR!! Congrats go to LCM Reb Crush on a job well done organizing this, and he'll be now the Kappa Meeting Coordinator! A log of the meeting is attached.

- The Wing II Pilot League round 11 is ON!!! A Fly FREE-TIE 60 before 6 PM GMT Sunday 13th of MAy, send the file to Algaron and CC me. AAAAATENTION!!!!
I want a GREAT week in terms of participation on this comp. We are currently at the 3rd place as squadrons, separated by only 200 points from the 2nd place. I WANT MORE SUBMISSIONS THAN NORMAL, WE GOTTA GET THE SECOND PLACE!!! GOOOO KAPPPA!!!!!!!!!!

-The Inkwolf Raid competition in on its second round!! The mission, this time featuring Psi is attached. -New Science Officer

Congrats to VA Den Darkhill on his new position!
-Dutch EH Meeting

Fellow Emperor Hammer's members. I am proud to announce that there will be a Dutch EH Meeting from Friday the 17th till Sunday the 19th of August in Delft, Holland. This Meeting is organised by me, Major Tarkin and Vice-Admiral Ender Mindbender. Lodging arrangements have been made for all that want to attend. A website will go online this weekend with a full itinerary and various travel possibilities for just about all European members. Since Holland is centrally located in Europe and has a highly developed infrastructure we feel that this is a wonderful opportunity to get as many different nationalities together and maybe create the biggest EH Meeting EVER! And of course all of you outside Europe are very welcome to come over here. :) If you decide to come, please mail me and VA Mindbender so we can arrange a proper welcome. Also, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

-EH Poland Meeting monthly reminder

Members of Emperor's Hammer. I come to you to inform you once again about EH Poland Meeting this summer. Time is running out. But now I got more datails.

Meeting will last for 4 days. It'll start at Friday, the 29th of June till Monday the 2nd of July. Location: Jonny's Summer House, 30km from Bialystok, North-Eastern region of Poland. What you need? Simple. We only provide the place. You need to bring cash to buy food or bring your food, a tent of course and camera if you got it. We'll have great fun out here and it'll be good to take many pictures or home movies. The location is beautiful at the summer house in the wood by the river. Everything looks great. Next Sunday I'll be there and I'll take few photos and I'll upload them so you'll be able to see it for yourselves. We'll be able to view SW movies, others too of course, and maybe even have Multi-Player competition. Yes.. I'll contact COO and ask about it.

And now, the most important thing: Women at the meeting. If you want to take your girlfriend with you, it'll be great. If you know some girls who wants to arrive, feel free to invite them. Few of my pals want to bring their girlfriends but they always say: "I don't want her to be the only woman there", so if you'll bring your girlfriend, sister, etc., email me.

-Grey Wolf Commodore appointed

Many congratulations to Rear Admiral Khadgar who has been appointed as the new Commodore for the ISD Grey Wolf!

-VanCOM promoted

At the recommendation of Vice Admiral Cyric and with full support from the Flight Office, current Vanguard Commodore, RA Ender mBind has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral for the tireless work he's done for his Command, and the continued dedication he's shown!

-FMC Public Relations Division

From the XO of the Fleet Medical Corps, LC Death (DEATH-PRIVAT@gmx.net):

"PR-DIVISION
Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,
this is the second project I mentioned in the mail about the think-tank. I
want to get a "Public Relations"-Division running. The purpose of this would
be to do some EH-Work to raise the reputation of the FMC and such (setting
up
EH-Wide comps, such stuff...). The PR-Division would work together closely
with the Think-Tank and the single Divisions. I just want to see
top-qualified
personnel in it and will handselect the members.
The PR-Division will be a seperate division, means, you will have to leave
your current division/position to join it.
The PR-Division will be responsible to Mike and me directly, but will get an
own PMO.
The work of the PR-Division is very important! Since it will be hard work
too, it will be well rewarded.

Ok...if you think that you are capable of this job, send me an application
containing the following things:
Complete ID-Line (FMC AND SubGroup you're in)
Why you think you are a possible canditate for this
Your current EH-Career (a fast run-down...maybe some more infos to important
sections)

NOTE: Since this is a full time occupation within the Medical Corps, ANYONE may join the FMC and be part of the PR division, even not being a Doc or Nurse.

-Admiral Jarak Maldon resigns

Last night during the TIE Corps meeting, AD Jarak Maldon announced his decision to retire from his position as Battlegroups Commander. This was sent out from him: (Read the letter on Tiecorps.org)
With this, I will be taking applications for a new Battlegroup Commander. The requirements and qualifications are as follows:



You must have been in the TIE Corps for at least 1 year
You must have held the position of Wing Commander and be ranked Lieutenant Colonel or higher
Applications should contain a brief summary of your history of Command in the TIE Corps (and not other Subgroups)
You must be familiar with the workings of the Fleet (protocols, policies etc)
The important bit: I want you to tell me why you want the position of BGCOM, what role you see the BGCOM plays in the TC and why you think you should be appointed to the position

All applications should be sent to spellfire@btinternet.com & pellaeon2000@cs.com by this Friday. If you've already sent an application that doesn't contain what I've asked for above, then please send it again. You may list up to 1 reference, but do NOT get people to email me on your behalf - doing so will automatically disqualify you.

-LSF vs EH: League war THIS Wednesday!

The battle will be conducted in the Xwing vs TIE Fighter and Xwing Alliance battlefield. It will be held on irc.nassery.org, in the #LSFvsEH room. All results will be posted and recorded at Battlestats. So if you dont have an account, get one. (www.battlestats.com) Standard BSC rules apply.

The war begins Wed, May 9th at 12:00 PM EST (noon) and ends the following Wed, May 16th at 11:00 PM EST. Last engagement, the EH lost badly. Come support the EH and turn the tides of war.



-EH Ladder Season 2 starts!
