Some good news! As you all should have heard in the meantime, Colonel
Astarosta is back in Kappa. Once again, welcome back Roasty. :)
The bad news is that he reactivated little Red Roosta... better don't
touch him, you just might regret it. :P
Some honestly bad news: Still nothing was heard from LT Shimir, as his
mail account is over-quota. Those of you who use AIM, please continue
trying to contact him that way (Odindarklord is his AIM name).


Squadron News
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

- Kappa legend Roasty is back. See above. :P

- Final results for the Deathmask Units Competitions are out, and we
did very well! Wing II was the winning Wing in this competition.
Algaron earned himself an IS-BR for his fiction submission, I was on
sixth place in flying, and we have an excellent fourth place on the
overall squadron scoring table.
Good work!

- We finally managed to hold a nice little squadron meeting, with
these results in detail:
1. Algaron is planning to do a major update on the Kappa homepage
soon. Thanks Algy, we're eager to see the outcome. :)
2. Dash will update our battle board
(http://minos.net/~kse/kbb/main.php?page=b) under the condition
that we all use it afterwards. :P
So please let us know when you are done with it, Dash, so we can
all enter our completed battles/missions.
3. We agreed on not having a message board at this time, as Kappans
never have been big posters. :P
We will use the Wing II board in case we have anything to say.
4. There was no volunteer for the CAO position due to time
restrictions of all ppl in question, therefore I'll keep that
position until... well, we'll see until when :P
5. -CLASSIFIED-, hehehe :)
6. A competition is coming up against Sin, which all Kappans should
know by now. You are invited to suggest missions to be flown for
that comp, see orders section.

These were the major points. It was a funny and very productive
meeting and I want to thank Zyrax, Algy and Dash for participating.
Btw, anyone wanting the title of Meeting Coordinator to see what
pain that can be? :P

Squadron Orders

- Suggest missions for the Kappa vs Sin competition. Two missions
will be picked by us, two by the Sinners. You have time until
Sunday, for on Monday I'll bugger the TO to approve the comp with
all details; and if everything goes as planned, the comp will start
one week later.

- Try to recruit new pilots to fill up Kappa's ranks.

- Start flying for the second round of the Deathmask Units competition
that will take place in January. 61, buhahaha. :P

- Outer Rim War 2 (VA Kyle Katarn)
We will participiate in Outer Rim War 2. Yes, I overthought it good
and I read the rules carefully and I think, that we are good enough
to win this comp. For more details, please go to here. The Combat
Calendar will be updated ASAP. So, everyone will be invited to join
the War agianst the Rebel Squadrons, and other clubs. If you got
questions, feel free to eMail me. I suggest everyone to read the
rules before playing, cause not to know rules is not a reason for
violating them. However, feel free to fly. GL & HF, and win!

isn't a really great selection of high quality images to choose
from. What I'd like, is for people to send me some quality star wars
themed avatars to upload to the message board system for people to
use. If you don't, you'll be forced to live with the avatars that
are currently available, so please help out if you can.
