News -

- Some more Flag appointments have taken place over the last week or so:

• Lieutenant Colonel Sephiroth has been appointed as the new Wing X Wing Commander.
• Rear Admiral SickMan has been promoted to Commodore of the ISD Vanguard in the ASF.
• Taking over SickMan's previous position as Wing Commander for Wing V is Major Frodo.

Many congratulations go out to all three Officers!

- It seems the database's mailer system has died. This means that notification for many updates cannot be sent out, and thus delays abound, particularly with assignments. Please be patient and check the rosters to see if your awaiting update has actually been done or not.

- A reminder to all those holding the position of Squadron Commander and above:

You should be sending out weekly reports to all those under your command and to those in the Chain of Command above you. This includes the Flight Office: Me (spellfire@btinternet.com) and my CA, Admiral Cyric (jroscoe@comcast.net). AD Cyric will now be tracking these reports to make sure they are sent out on a regular basis and uploaded to the database. You fail to do this fundamental part of your job and you will be removed.

That's all...it's been a fairly quiet week. With the (semi) return of the database things should get back into normal routine.
