For over a decade we have been submitting our pilot files through the Chain of Command. Today, that changes. The TAC Office has adopted a submission policy that allows any member to submit their own pilot files.
FMs and FLs will notice a new link has appeared on their administration pages.
While everyone else will not see any visual change, you are now able to submit your own files in addition to any files that you receive from subordinates.
The TAC Manual has been updated to reflect these changes, as follows:
Battle Submission Form
The Battle Submission Form (BSF) is a system to automate processing of submitted pilot files. When a pilot file is processed, the pilot's combat record and FCHG ranking will be automatically updated to reflect the pilot has flown the battle and record any high scores attained.
All members can log-in to the TIE Corps Database and submit BSFs for any battle that they or their subordinates have completed. To BSF a pilot file, simply use the link in your Administration Menu entitled 'Submit battle (BSF) to Tactical Office'.
If for any reason you are unable to submit BSFs on the database, send your pilot files to your commanding officer.
These changes have already been implemented and pilots may begin submitting their own BSFs immediately. If you encounter any problems, please report them to
the TAC and HA Dempsey.
Thanks to HA Anahorn Dempsey for updating the TIE Corps site with this functionality.
